Gaara! --Shippuuden--
As of right now in Shippuuden, Gaara is dead. I don't wanna hear what happens if you read the manga please, so no spoilers =).

There are plenty of paintings showing Gaara's glory and power, but very few that show Gaara's "Shattered Defeat".

"Is that a hole in his shoulder?!" yeah haha I painted that in, showed some dramatic extraction of the Shukaku (thanks for the correction :iconsariachan-kokirileaf: ), even though it didn't leave from that area. I really liked it, especially all the cracks and stuff. Sand Armor ftw. haha

I really liked this piece, I hope you do too.

Great work! Love the painting technique that you used here to get this affect I really like the hair and the cracks in his sand armor the most though.

I'm really in shock that this doesn't have more comments...this is drop-dead gorgeous! The technique is really great, and I like the use of background space (without really creating a detailed background). I'm not much of a Gaara fan, either, but I really like this. My only critique is that the hand looks like it's a little odd and could use some more definition, but the rest of it is beautiful.
